Around the 26 mark your baby’s eyes will open for the first time. However, their permanent eye colour will not yet be known until several weeks after birth. Baby Baby continues to grow and is now the equivalent height of 2 Ewan the Sheep, from head to heel and weighs approx. 760g, similar to 40 frozen sausage rolls. Baby keeps practising their sipping skills and amazingly the amniotic fluid they are swimming in has been through their digestive system at least once helping them prepare for when they are in the outside world in about 14 weeks' time!!! Mum As you approach your 3rd trimester you may notice you are starting to get a little more tired as your bump continues to grow and your coordination may start suffering as your centre of gravity shifts.
If you haven’t already, then now is a great time to hit the shops, while you still have the energy and try out a range of travel systems to see which one suits you and your new little family. Try making a list of what you need in a travel system and then use this to help you choose.
There are so many travel systems to choose from, if possible, try and find a shop that has a good range so you can have a test run.
