It can be difficult getting to this point and baby still hasn’t arrived, with daily messages from well meaning friends and family asking if anything has happened, but it really will soon. Baby Baby is good and ready to go and you should still be able to feel their movements, if not then do contact your midwife or doctor.

You will discuss your induction options which may even involve booking it in – this does not mean you will definitely go down this route, but it is good to have a plan. Your midwife may offer you a membrane sweep which is an internal examination that stimulates the cervix to produce hormones that may trigger natural labour.
It may feel uncomfortable but can help move things along naturally. You do not have to have this, and you can discuss further with your midwife at your appointment.
